Water makes about 70% of the earth’s crust. It is a prime natural resource which is found on and under the ground. Most of the water,
roughly about 97% is in the Seas/ Oceans which is salt water and not useful for daily needs or agriculture. Thus, only 3% is available as
fresh water, but 99% of it also locked up in glaciers. Hence the potable percentage of water is very minimal which requires to be consciously managed.
